HP Pelzer Pimsa Otomotiv A.Ş. was established to manufacture sound insulation and interior ceiling parts for the global automotive industry, in partnership with HP Chemie Pelzer GmbH, which owns a 51% interest in the company, and Pimsa Poliüretan İmalat Sanayii ve Tic. A.Ş., which owns 49%. (Pimsa Poliüretan serves on the Board of Pelzer Pimsa as the majority shareholder and is responsible for day-to-day management.)

Established in May 2000 on an enclosed area of 6.203 m² in the Automotive Components Industrial Zone (TOSB), the company’s Gebze factory manufactures products for Mercedes, Toyota and Honda.

The Gölcük factory of HP Pelzer Pimsa, built in June 2001 on a 2800 m² enclosed space inside Ford Otosan’s supplier park, manufactures components for Ford Transit and Transit Connect.
